Scantech ID Spica S-9010

The Scantech ID Spica scan engine is designed for oem built-in applications. With 20 scan lines in 5 fields and 1350 scans per second the Spica is a very aggressive and easy-to-use scan engine. The latest generation of code reconstruction software further increases the scanning performance.
The scanner casing is especially designed for installation in kiosks, ATM's, return vending machines, price verifiers and similar applications. Rectangular sides and metal screw inserts improve installation possibilities. The scanner can be programmed through the interface cable and the low power consumption makes it easy to power the scanner 'off terminal' (direct powered).
Typically, this engine has been designed to be used by 'untrained' operators. i.e. customers! Reliability and good performance are vital in these cases.
