SMS Printer

This printer has been developed to print SMS (text) messages received via an internal SIM card. Using this system, fast food take-away restaurants can receive orders directly from the customer or from a website dispatching program. In business, companies can receive orders directly by SMS. In logistics, drivers can receive instructions for new pick up or delivery jobs directly to the truck or van.
There are two firmware versions available. The first directly prints SMS messages exactly as they are received. The second type prints a customised form or order. The formatted order can comprise of several individual messages received in any order. The software puts these together in the correct sequence then sounds a beep when ready. The operator can then print the order in the customised format on one long sheet of paper. The printer can then send back a confirmation message if required.
