Terms and Conditions of Sale

Sales:

We will make every attempt to ensure enjoy your purchasing experience with M-Tech Printers. It is the policy of M-Tech to offer products and services to all interested parties. While we strive to provide every day low pricing to all parties, certain customers may be entitled to greater discounts due to factors such as past purchase history, volume purchasing, etc. We can accept payment by cheque, bank transfer or credit card in Sterling or Euro currencies. Please note, payments by credit card may be subject to a 3.5% surcharge. Orders can be accepted by; post, telephone, email or fax.
Our normal payment terms are 30 days net but other terms may be agreed at the time of ordering (subject to credit status). Please note however, failure to pay within the agreed terms might result in re-negotiation of the terms, prices or cancellation of the contract.

Sales Orders and Quotations:

Prices given in an official, written quotation are valid for 28 days after which time they may be revised to reflect changes in supplier costs.
Prices applied to sales orders will remain in force throughout the life of the order up to a maximum period of 12 months (unless otherwise agreed in writing). Call offs beyond the term of the original order may be subject to pricing adjustments.
M-Tech reserves the right to revise fixed prices during the term of a contract if the rate of exchange between GBP (Sterling) and either the USD or Euro should fluctuate by greater than 10% of the rate in force at the time the order was accepted. Please note, such exchange rate changes could result in a either a reduction or increase in the previously agreed selling price.

Warranty:

The manufacturer's warranty applies to products sold by M-Tech. The manufacturer usually handles warranties. Warranties vary by manufacturer. Please note, battery packs (where applicable) are normally exempt from warranty.

DOA:

If your product is DOA (Dead On Arrival), out of the box failure, or fails during the manufacturer's DOA period, we will arrange for replacement within the guidelines of the manufacturer's warranty.

Returning Defective Products:

You may return defective product within 15 days of purchase date.
Please return all products complete with boxes, manuals, warranty cards, cables and anti-static bags.
We strongly recommend double boxing all returns to avoid damage to the manufacturer's box. Please do not write on the product box.
Returns must be shipped freight and insurance pre-paid.
Include a copy of the M-Tech or Mylox invoice and serial number record for each item returned. This is often required by manufacturers to support your warranty claim. We may charge a small fee if we have to search our files for invoice copies to support your warranty claim.

Software...

Open software may be returned only if defective out of the box, under the terms of the software publisher. Be sure that you have read the licensing agreement and checked that you have received the correct type, version and disk size before opening. Defective software can only be exchanged for the same version. Software purchased and downloaded online from M-Tech or Mylox may not be returned under any circumstances. If you are unsure about purchasing one of our products, we strongly recommend you first preview the product by downloading a demo version of the product.

Restocking Fees...

We will charge for all items missing from returns. We also charge a minimum 15% restocking fee to cover processing costs for returns that are not complete and in factory condition.

M-Tech has made a strong commitment to our customers to provide superior service and support.

Limitations on Liability...

M-Tech and Mylox disclaim all liability for, and the customer specifically waives all right to, any special, incidental or consequential damages, including any damages to property or any damages resulting from loss of data, profit, or goodwill, which customers might suffer directly or indirectly as a result of any breach of any warranty, representation or covenant by M-Tech, Mylox, or our suppliers. M-Tech and Mylox are not responsible for the integrity of data on storage devices (hard disk drives, tapes, or diskettes, etc.). The contents of this document supersede all other previously published documents. M-Tech, Mylox and manufacturer policies and warranties are subject to change without prior notice.

Warranty Information...

Warranties are from the original M-Tech or Mylox invoice date and apply to the original owner, unless specified otherwise. Warranties are against defects in workmanship and materials for the period of time specified, provided that the product remains unmodified and is operated under normal and proper conditions. The customer is responsible for maintaining copies of invoices for warranty claims.
Warranties are limited to repair or replacement at the manufacturer's options with reasonable promptness after being returned to the manufacturer, authorized service centre, repair depot at M-Tech or Mylox, as specified, and by a carrier selected and paid for by the customer.
Warranties do not apply to any product that has been subject to misuse, neglect, accidental damage, unauthorized repair or tampering. Preventative maintenance activities, if required, are not covered by warranty. Warranties can not be honoured for products in which serial numbers, manufacturing dates or other means of identification have been altered or removed.
