Printer Repair, Service & Warranty Details

We are available to assist you with any repair or maintenance issue you may have. If a printer supplied by Mylox Technologies or M-Tech is damaged or fails in any way, then please contact the M-Tech office to discuss ways of over-coming the problem. If the issue cannot be resolved by telephone support then you may be asked to return the item to M-Tech in the UK for repair or replacement. In some circumstances it may be necessary to return the item(s) to the manufacturer for further investigation.

The following information will be useful in obtaining service for your item, and may answer many of your questions.

Our Rates...

Our servicing rate is £35 per hour for repairs of all items. Most repairs take only an hour but your repair may vary. Please follow the instructions below for sending in your item.

Warranty...

The Manufacturer's warranty applies to products sold by M-Tech Printers. The terms of these warranties vary so please contact us for details of the warranty on your product.

DOA...

If your product is DOA (Dead On Arrival), out of the box failure, or fails during the manufacturer's DOA period, we will arrange for replacement within the guidelines of the manufacturer's warranty and DOA policy.

Returning Defective Products Or Sending Items In For Repairs...

You may return defective product within 15 days of purchase date. Please return all products complete with boxes, manuals, warranty cards, cables and anti-static bags. We strongly recommend double boxing all returns to avoid damage to the manufacturer's box. Please do not write on the product box. Returns must be shipped freight and insurance pre-paid. Include a copy of the M-Tech or Mylox invoice and serial number record for each item returned. This is often required by manufacturers to support your warranty claim. We may charge a small fee if we have to search our files for invoice copies to support your warranty claim.

Software...

Open software may be returned only if defective out of the box, under the terms of the software publisher. Be sure that you have read the licensing agreement and checked that you have received the correct type, version and disk size before opening. Defective software can only be exchanged for the same version.

Restocking Fees...

We must charge for all items missing from returns. We also charge a minimum 15% restocking fee to cover processing costs for returns that are not complete and in factory condition.

Limitations on Liability...

M-Tech Printers and Mylox Technologies disclaims all liability for, and the customer specifically waives all right to, any special, incidental or consequential damages, including any damages to property or any damages resulting from loss of data, profit, or goodwill, which customers might suffer directly or indirectly as a result of any breach of any warranty, representation or covenant by M-Tech Printers or Mylox, or their respective suppliers. M-Tech and Mylox are not responsible for the integrity of data on storage devices (hard disk drives, tapes, or diskettes, etc.). The contents of this document supersede all other previously published documents by M-Tech Printers. Policies and warranties are subject to change without prior notice.

Warranty Information...

Warranties are from the original M-Tech or Mylox invoice date and apply to the original customer, unless specified otherwise. Warranties are against defects in workmanship and materials for the period of time specified, provided that the product remains unmodified and is operated under normal and proper conditions. The customer is responsible for maintaining copies of invoices for warranty claims.

Warranties are limited to repair or replacement at the manufacturer's options with reasonable promptness after being returned to the manufacturer, authorized service centre, repair depot at Mylox or M-Tech, as specified, and by a carrier selected and paid for by the customer.

Warranties do not apply to any product that has been subject to misuse, neglect, accidental damage, unauthorized repair or tampering. Preventative maintenance activities, if required, are not covered by warranty. Warranties can not be honoured for products in which serial numbers, manufacturing dates or other means of identification have been altered or removed.
