Presentation Scanner Orion O-3050

The ORION is a new presentation laser scanner which allows hands free barcode scanning, based on proven Scantech-ID technologies. Barcode labels are read by presenting the labels towards the scanner. Scanning with the ORION hardly requires any arm movement. The ORION can either be fixed on a counter surface or on a flexible stand and it is designed to take up a minimum amount of the counter top area available. The flexible stand allows you to direct the scan pattern in a way that is optimal for your application and to suit the operator.
An important feature of the ORION is its programmable sleep mode. If the scanner is not used within a programmable period of time, the scanner switches off automatically. The scanner can be re-activated by pressing the switch on top of the scanner.
The ORION is available in two colour versions, both supporting a triple interface for communication with any host system.
