Kiosk printer mechanism

Compact kiosks or unattended terminals, sometimes present problems for the oem to design in a reliable printer module with the essential elements of interface, cutter and presenter. If a complete chassis with roll holder is specified, then this places additional constraints on the design. In these instances, the MLX-T60-OEM provides a compact solution without paper holder. This allows the oem to develop his own paper handling system which can be above, below or behind the printer module with access from above, left or right as required.
This module therefore incorporates just a 60mm direct thermal printer mechanism with straight through paper path, an auto-cutter and plastic guide mounted onto the front to ensure reliable dispensing. This elimnates the possibility that the user could cause an accidental, or deliberate paper jam.
