Data Capture Terminals...

Data Capture Terminals are handheld Mobile computers or PDA's (personal digital assistants) which also incorporate at least one method of data colection, such as a barcode or RFID scanner. Technically, this development makes the device an Enterprise Digital Assistant (or EDA).
All mobile data collection devices are ruggedised and sealed against dust and liquids to ay least IP54, with a rubberised casing to withstand shocks and drops.

Indoor applications include; shop floor stock management, warehousing, logistics and production control. Out of doors applications include farming (animal/crop management) deliveries and collections. Stored data can later be uploaded to a computer or back office system by serial cable, IrDA, Bluetooth, WiFi or via the mobile phone network.
